I've had lots of fun visiting my family, enjoying nature, reading lots of great books, and even cleaning out drawers (they look wonderful). I also love the excitement that a new school year brings. Pretty soon I will have a whole new set of students to get to know. Together we wiil grow in academics and in friendships. Fifth grade can be challenging and at times trying as you prepare to leave elementary school. My goal is to make it your best school year ever! How's that? Since we all tend to value things more when we've worked for them, you'll practice hard work (you can do it!), perseverance, and respect for all. It's the recipe for a memorable and best fifth grade! Enjoy the last few days of summer vacation with a good book. Even better-write a summary of it and your opinion of it (you can even post it on this blog to inspire others). You'll be that much ahead of the homework game, exercise your brain, and you'll have fun reading! Each teacher, including me, has lots of ideas for learning that we know you'll enjoy. Please visit this website often as I will continue to post helpful information. Drop me a line, and tell me what you've been doing this summer. See you soon!

My Website is for You!

http://mclaughlink.weebly.com/1/post/2008/08/my-website-is-for-you.html

http://mclaughlink.weebly.com/1/post/2008/08/my-website-is-for-you.html#comments

Uncategorized

I have a website!
